The Trustees in a meeting held on 15th September 2018 decided to institute a Scholarship Scheme for the staff of Nehru Sidhant Kender Trust with effect from academic session 2019-20 and named as Mittal Panday Scholarship [Trust]. The details are as under:
The purpose of the scholarship would be to support the education of the wards of Support Staff & Admin Staff of Nehru Sidhant Kender Trust.
The wards (maximum two per family) of Support Staff & Admin Staff of Nehru Sidhant Kender Trust, studying in schools & colleges would be eligible.
The scholarship amount will be utilized for the educational needs of the students like tuition fees, purchase of text books & uniforms etc. and reimbursed on production of receipts.
In this case, the scholarships will be given based on the pass results of the previous academic year and admission to the next class.
Wards of Support Staff of Nehru Sidhant Kender Trust will be paid Rs.6000/- per year for their schooling or actual whichever is low.
Wards of Admin Staff of the Nehru Sidhant Kender Trust will be paid Rs.10,000/- per year for their schooling or actual whichever is low.
For College education up to graduation, the wards of both Support as well as Admin. Staff will be paid Rs.25,000/- per year or actual whichever is low.
In case a student fails in a particular class, the scholarship will be withdrawn. Passing of the student to be certified by school Principal every year.
The student should secure minimum 70% marks in 10+2 examinations for the scholarship at the college level and for the scholarship to continue, the student has to obtain minimum 60% marks in each class. In the event of failure to score this percentage, the scholarship will be withdrawn.
The student should not be a recipient of any other scholarship or financial aid from the Government or Non-Government agencies.
The wards will apply to Nehru Sidhant Kender Trust in the prescribed application form (Annexure A), duly countersigned by the concerned Principal of the school/college along with supporting documents such as tuition fees, text books and uniforms.
On receipt of application forms, the particulars will be properly verified. The scholarships to the eligible students would be sanctioned by the Scholarship Committee of Nehru Sidhant Kender Trust.
The scholarship cheque will be paid by the Trust in favor of applicant annually in April every year, starting from the session 2019-2020 based on the result of 2018-2019 & the admission to next class as per school/college records.
Note: Decision of the Trust will be final.
